i'm running IDL 7.1 on openSUSE11.2 and today i'm getting the splash

I feel like pulling my hair out - I tried unsuccessfully over the past few
days to install ImagMagick but because of version conflicts and missing
libraries I had to give up.
I originally choose ImageMagick because I've
heard so much about it.
I then decided to go with the inbuilt GD tools since I'm using PHP 4.3.3
that I compiled with --with-gd.
I can use some of the image functions in
PHP so why is this one undefined? What can I do to resolve it?

A failure has occurred in NISystemInfo.CoLoadLibrary failed on C:\lv8.5\bin\NISysInf.dll&- I am installing from a system that previously had LabView 8.2 installed, however everything was uninstalled before I began installing the new version.
- No hardware is connected in my computer.
- I copied the files from the DVD to my harddrive and am still failing to install it from there.
- The disc should be fine as my supervisor had used the same disc to install on his computer. ( our licence allows this )
Any help would be appreciated.Attatched is a screenshot of the error.

Well the issue got resolved however I'm not too sure as to what the fix was. The installer I was using came from a DVD, but we also had several CDs. I tried installing from one of the CDs and I got past the point of failure, however I cancelled the install, restarted the computer, disabled the anti-virus and tried again from the DVD and it installed without any proble...I know this is a common error, and that there are lots of posts all
over the place as to why it happens, but I cannot for the life of me
figure out what I'm doing wrong.

sorry i cant, this project is proprietary.
But&i think i figured out the problem: the FP of the main vi has minimal screen size set for a 17& diameter screen. my laptop has only 15. then when i maximize the window, the size of the FP is smaller than its predefined minimum. it does work most of the time, but everytime i do 'undo', or create/delete a property node, LV&resets the FP size to its minimal preset value. LV crashed quite often. now i cancelled the minimal size, and it seems much more stable. In my office computer i have no problem, but it is 8.2.0 there, with 17& panel...
here i send you the relevent logs. the last one is the fpsane one. had to delete name of vi and folders.

You get the unsupported error because the daq card you're using does
not support AC coupling. It is DC coupling only.

This is an example file provided by NI and can be found in Labview 8.2\examples\instr\niHSDIO: Dynamic Generation.lib. Inside this library, there is a file called &Dynamic Generation.vi&. If I copied &Dynamic Generation.vi& to other place, the labview will crash. Error message:

In the mean time, the Windows freeze. Mouse right click no response. No status bar at the bottom of the screen. The whole desktop is blank. All icons on the desktop disappeared. I have to log-off and re-login to re-active everything.
I also tried to copy&other VI's in other library files. Same thing happened.
I&was using Labview 8.2.1 when I had this crash, though I have Labview 7 installed in the same computer.
When I &copy the file to some other place&, I mean: Click the *.vi file, ctrl-c and ctrl-v to some other directory.

Trace the relevant network activity on both sides, and find out what
packets are or are not getting through.
