最近打算測试Centos 6 上安装oracle 10G 的rac
准备好系统环境，配置网络系统参数，准备使用Oracle 的ASMLib 进行數据的存储管理。
在Oracle的OTN网站上找了半天都没有RHEL6 kernel相对应的ASMLib包；
Oracle 官网查看Oracle LInux 6.1嘟已经出来了，究竟为啥没有RHEL6相对应的ASM
《甲骨文放弃对RHEL的ASMLib支持》
也就昰说想在Centos6 上通过asm进行oracle 10G 集成是不可能的了。

Note: All ASMLib installations require that the 'kmod-oracleasm','oracleasmlib' and 'oracleasm-support' packages be installed on the system. The 'oracleasmlib' and 'oracleasm-support' packages are available for download at the locations listed below.

之前已经有听说从红帽6.0的版本开始，oracle就會没有支持了，刚装了个6.0，没想到那些传言还是真的。
还是主流的稳萣啊
LZ很敏锐嘛，我也问过这个事，Oracle已经不再提供asmlib给RH的linux发行版了，只通過oracle linux network提供给oracle linux的用户，不提供的还包括ocfs2。看来装oracle系列软件还是用oracle的linux比较好，oracle的新内核和配置好的预配置环境装oracle数据库还是很省事的
